ABOUT US
Established in 1995, the Drayton Valley Health Foundation is a registered, nonprofit charity devoted to elevating local health care. We work in close partnership with the Drayton Valley and Breton Health Care Centres, ensuring that every dollar entrusted to us is invested where it matters most—right here at home.

Each year, our frontline physicians, nurses, and allied-health teams submit a detailed “wish list” of equipment and patient-care enhancements that would improve outcomes, safety, and comfort. Our volunteer Board of Directors—drawn from business, health care, and community leadership—evaluates these requests against clinical priorities, budget considerations, and anticipated community impact. Funds are then allocated to purchase advanced diagnostic tools, life-saving technology, and comfort items that ease the healing journey for patients and families.

Because we are community-funded, transparency and stewardship guide every decision. Donors receive clear project updates, and completed initiatives are showcased so supporters can see the lives they have touched. By keeping donations local, we strengthen the continuum of care for Drayton Valley, Breton, and the surrounding region—ensuring that neighbours, friends, and loved ones have access to the highest standard of health services, today and for generations to come.
